About a week before ZCON, I picked up 3 new Dayco (the cheapest you can possibly buy at Discount Auto, to my knowledge) drive belts. I needed a new AC compressor belt, so I just replaced them all at once. Also, one of my OEM belts that was replaced during a 120k at Nissan way back was actually squeaking. It happens. I drove the car to/from Daytona, beat the crap out of it on Wednesday, and AutoX'd on Thursday. My combination of a rebuilt alternator from Pep Boys, water pump I've never replaced since I've owned the car, cheap Dayco drive belts and other miscellaneous non-OEM hoses and gaskets performed great! My "OEM" N62 MAF was the only part that "failed" during that week in Daytona. Anyway, the OEM vs. non-OEM part dispute is about as worthless as the import vs. domestic dispute.
